Has anyone managed to fix the background (grey borders) and progress bars on this theme yet? I would very much love to use it.

Hi, i really love your theme but im not huge fan of black taskbars. Is there a way to change how windows looks without changing the taskbar?
This is my desktop now, i would like to keep taskbar theme like this.

Just switched from Linux to Windows and I think I've installed every VS on DA. This is the only thing that stuck. Very well done. My only (small) gripe is the jump list bug on 8.1. Otherwise, just beautiful.

Look in the comments below, some users fixed that bug (and more). I'm using the version posted by thomasking42, no bugs at all in that one :)

Hi, does anyone know if it's possible to change the border and active border color? I've tried using MsStyler but with no success. I'd appreciate if someone could do it or tell me how!

I istalled this theme and rebooted my pc, only to log in to my windows profile, to find out that the screen was entirely black, no icons, win8 taskbar, no nothing. I had to restore from a previous point.

******IF YOUR PC APPEARS TO HAVE A BLACK SCREEN, AND YOU CANT DO ANYTHING AFTER ISTALLING THIS "THEME" JUST HOLD SHIFT AND REBOOT, IT WILL REBOOT IN TROUBLESHOOT MODE, AND IT WILL LET YOU RESTORE FROM A PREVIOUS SAVED POINT.*****

If you do not have a saved point you might as well format the computer. this is how bad this theme is.

This theme could be considered as bad as malware, and honestly i cannot even begin to comprehend why did you released it knowing that it has this big flaw.

Do not istall this theme if you want to have your pc working in order, expecially considering that other people did istall this theme, and then unistall it, just to find out that it does the black screen issue anyway. Just choose another theme, any other theme really, discard this, its not even that good to begin with.

It's your own fault if your computer gets ruined. You were willing to take the steps in installing the theme, which means you also accept the responsibility of what happens. Just because you had a problem doesn't mean you can deemed this theme as "malware".

You shouldn't blame the theme, much less call it malware, unless you've tested and researched to verify it a bit first. A black screen on boot isn't an uncommon issue. It can be caused by lots of things in Windows 8 - it's happened to me on several occasions, in fact.
I don't know exactly why it happened to you, but one thing that I do know that can cause it with regards to themes is if something (perhaps Windows itself) changes the files that your themepatcher (UXThemepatcher or UxStyle) has modified and you reboot with a custom theme still installed. Running sfc /scannow reverts the changes your themepatcher has made, so if you run it and try to reboot without changing to a default theme you'll get a black screen. Uninstalling your themepatcher without changing to a default theme has the same effect. Black screens can also be caused by driver issues.

Regardless though, it isn't the theme itself that's to blame. It's working fine for me and lots of others. A helpful tip: If a piece of software seems to be working for a lot of people but does not work for you, it's probably not malware, it's probably a problem on your end.
